Prosperity

Today I have some more video of my Untitled Game (It's almost time for me to think of a title) project.  In this video, we can see NPC miners going about their business.  It kind of reminds me of RTS resource gatherers.  These guys are owned by the cube, err Station, who is in turn owned by a Faction.

You may have noticed the +1 Prosperity message.  When a player or NPC sells their goods to a station, it contributes to its Prosperity level.  This is just one of many ways that NPC's and the player can affect the world around them.

The higher the Prosperity gets, the more active/alive the Station and the area around it will get.  So you may start to see more traffic, more services and probably even some increased pirate activity.  It will also decay, so a station that has little use will eventually fall into disrepair.
