Andy made his return to the Warhammer Online forums yesterday. To be clear about my last post, I never had an issue with him taking time off. What did bother me was the lack of communication over the past two months and the fact Mythic seems to have no one to back him up. So, what did Andy have to report?
In terms of actual information, it was pretty much the same thing as he posted 3 weeks ago. You can read the full post here, but don't expect too much. The EU community will be getting some great news. My guess is a new Community Manager for them or maybe WAR Russia is joining the fold.
Andy also talks about managing expectations being very important for the development team and he is right. A lot us, myself included, want to believe that the team is working on or has plans to make new content. There has been no indication that this is the case.
According to the post, all we can expect for Warhammer Online is bug fixes and career balancing. That's it. Maybe someday Mythic will announce more, but they are making no promises.
